Pre Fanime Hype Post 2: Skullgirls
In the ongoing attempt to make this upcoming Fanimecon not a complete flop, here is the second preview of my new line of merch.
Skullgilrs mugs! Featuring 8 (+a miscellany of other characters) of the the lovely ladies that you like seeing beat each other to a pulp.

The mugs feature a drawn illustration etched onto a 20oz beer mug for sale at con for $20 at the upcoming Fanimecon 2013 in San Jose

With this and all upcoming products I will be posting up I’m giving you the option of pre-ordering for con pick up, were I will hold or make an extra so you will be guaranteed one and save on shipping. Simply message me if you see something you want me to reserve for you and just let me know your name at con.
For those not attending, I will be putting all featured merch up online for custom order after the convention.

Also with this update, Fanimecon was nice enough to give us a whole week of knowing, and sharing, our seating location. So not only will I be asking you to migrate from the safety of the convention center
but I will as well implore you to explore this dungeon of an alley to see the wares or all the great artists and maybe come by my place and say hi~

Hi guys,

This message comes in a bit late, since the first round of voting for the second character has already started, but it’s still probably relevant enough~

Some brainstorming concept attack doodles for some of the candidates. A bunch of these concepts were from a while ago, while others are fairly recent. Also keep in mind that the concepts in here are by no means the official attacks of the character, but mostly to give you an idea of what they might look like, or what kind of style they may posses This is sort of the first step for our process when it comes to thinking of character attacks.

Top image is Black Dahlia, followed by some Venus concepts. Then we have some Marie attacks, and actually a drawing I found while digging around my archives of Marie’s boss concept drawn out. The image of Marie’s actual boss form is accompanied by the approximate average size of a full-blooded Gigan, if one were present in-game.

After that are a series of Umbrella images- the first batch are some very old archives, and the second batch are still a bit old, but relatively recent.

The last image is something cool I found in the archives as well; a drawing by the one and only Ryusuke Hamamoto. The guy is *REALLY* cool, I must say. He’s been to quite a lot of US cons. I’ve seen him at SDCC a handful of times. As you can see, he drew this Umbrella for me at SDCC, way back in 2007. I hope he’s cool that I’m posting this up here @3@/

Anyway, a mix of of a glimpse at SG past + a peek at the future, one could say.

More character concepts coming up in the future, time permitting (working on the actual game content during the day, of course)

I’m excited to get working on Eliza concepts in the future too. Been thinking about that a lot lately as well~

I think it is funny that I am doing the most bamf-est woman in the game and the most beautiful little 4ft tall dragon child ever. But I am really excited because Fire Emblem is amazing and I am really happy that with Awakening everyone is getting into it.

My boyfriend over at Hard Work and Guts is making my Sully armor for Fanime at the end of this month. The bangs will be styled on site so they stay together and so the side bangs are more in my face.

Nah will be finished some time next year. I had her base dress commissioned by the lady in Taiwan who also made my Crona and Tsuruhime. (I couldn’t zip up the dress but it fits really well) There are some things I want to fix up: I am going to fix up the neck so it is pleated, re-do the wrist ruffles so they are more apparent, and add the scalloped trim to the bottom layer of the skirt.

Pre Fanime Pre Hype Pre Post.
So almost at the turn of the month, so I’m assuming if you’re going to Fanime you already planned to. So here’s the skinny, due to various issues Artist Alley got moved to this thing called South Hall…which no one even knows were it is. So if you go to the con, I’m sure not just me but a bunch of the other artists would appreciate it if you took the journey to check out the Alley.
